Update on gallery exhibition

Meeting with Angie Thompson at the Gallery on Friday 3rd February 2017.

Notes taken from the day above

Angie Thompson is a freelance Illustrator, maker and Art Educator. More information can be found here

Upon meeting with Angie Thompson she gave me a guided tour on her Art work displayed at the gallery in Ormskirk, where I got to see her work on display. Some of the images taken can be seen below.

After a tour of the gallery we headed to a local cafe to have a chat to get an insight of what drawing is to her and if there was anything that she would use a drawing application for.
One of the main topics Angie pointed out was that she would personally find an application to help with facilitating a lesson rather than using it for teaching someone how to draw.
Amongst the many topics we covered, I was overall concerned with the application idea I had in mind as it wouldn't be teaching the user how to draw but rather reinforcing the tools and techniques learned at a young age. Less of the game was shining through and it was turning out to be another drawing tool.
